Yard Waste Options

Full Service Yard Waste details
  • The season runs from the first full week of April through the last full week of November (weather permitting).
  • This is a guaranteed weekly pickup on your normal service day.
  • Yard waste cart available upon request but not required for the service.
  • Seasonal yard waste is an optional service that is billed annually. Seasonal service auto renews each April.
  • This service doubles as a bag service.
  • State law requires that all yard waste bags must be compostable.
  • Please have your cart, bags, and/or bundles curbside by 7am to ensure pickup.
On-call Pickup Service Details
  • Light on yard waste? This option would work for you!
  • On-call yard waste must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to your normal service day.
  • On-call yard waste is charged out at $4 per bag or bundle.
  • Please have all bagged or bundled yard waste curbside by 7am to ensure pickup. State law requires that all yard waste bags must be compostable.

Yard Waste Information

What Qualifies as Yard Waste?
  • Small brush, branches (1.5 inches diameter or less), grass clippings, and garden waste.
  • Securely bundled branches (up to 4 feet long, 18 inches in diameter).
  • Do not include plastic bags, sod, dirt, sand, mulch, or branches larger than 1.5 inches diameter.
Container Instructions
  • All yard waste must be in compostable bags, neatly bundled with string or twine, or in a container.
  • If using a container for yard waste, please do not overfill the container to ensure disposal.
  • For on-call pickups, waste should be in compostable bags, each weighing under 30 lbs. Bundled branches should be no more than 4 feet long and 18 inches in diameter as well as neatly bundled with twine or string.
